On the southern periphery of the positioning stood an impressive and historical Raintree that influenced the spatial structure of this 4-bedroom home in Chennai. The tree, with its sculptural roots and the large cover, was a major driver in figuring out the structure and design of the home. We wished the tree to be omnipresent, so we created the doorway court docket round its roots and positioned the lounge in such a method as to have direct views of it. The principle compound wall on the road was designed with sure cutouts to accommodate a few of its branches and roots.
