MLCU holds tree plantation drive

The Division of Diet and Dietetics and Division of Surroundings and Conventional Ecosystems at Martin Luther Christian College (MLCU), in collaboration with the Rotary Membership of Orchid Metropolis Shillong, organised a tree plantation programme yesterday.

The occasion passed off at MLCU’s Science and Know-how Innovation Hub at Umsawli, Mawpat. It was an initiative in direction of enhancing the native setting on this space and to create a way of accountability for the scholars to care for the timber and guarantee their progress.

100 fruit timber had been planted by the visitors, school and college students, out of which 50 had been plum and the opposite 50 peach.
